small little studio apartment on the third floor ..big bathroom, jacuzzi tub- which is a huge plus, especially after a long day. fully equipped kitchen, to reheat leftover lunch, or prepare your own meal...quiet neighborhood... parking can be tricky, but we were very fortunate in finding spots, later on in the evening.. check in process quick and easy..check out process is the same...100% will book again... thanks for a great stay!

John is very helpful and will always communicate with me. The room was clean and the bathroom is big. Thank you John!

Loved everything about this property. Space was perfect for four people who wanted a comfortable place to stay on a quiet neighborhood street outside the hubbub of the city. Easy access to subways. Comfy beds, roomy bathroom, sweet kitchen. My son hopes to attend university in Manhattan starting in fall 2020, and I hope this space is always available when I visit.

The Apartment is super clean and is 10 to 15 mins walk to the A line to Manhattan which takes 15 to 20 mins to lower Manhattan. Great restaurants and breakfast places close by.. Try Nagels Bagels around the corner!!
Very professional, easy in and out. Nice clean room this everything you would ever need. When I go back to NY this will be the place I stay. David

Absolutely recommend John's place. John and his family were extremely nice and accommodating. We had to change the dates and John was very flexible with us. The place is clean and just right for two adults and two children. It is very close to the subway and many little places around the home to eat or shop. The unit is private and looks newly renovated. It was a great deal in NYC. Definitely a great experience! Thanks John and Juanita!

We had a great time during our stay in Brooklyn. John's place is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We called the first day and asked for extra towels, and they were delivered by that evening. We did call towards the end of our stay and asked for more toilet paper and never received it, but we actually made it with what we had. The apartment is small and is up on the third floor. It was a little difficult getting our large bags up the narrow staircase, but we managed. During the night, the radiator does make a lot of banging noises, but we understood that it is an old building and it was probably the steam. The beds were comfortable. We were just about a 10 minute walk from the subway which took us to the city. We felt pretty safe around the neighborhood. There were a couple late nights that we walked from the subway and felt a little uneasy, but it could've be because it was late and there weren't a whole lot of people on the streets. I suppose you would get that feeling anywhere late at night. I would recommend John's place!!

We came to NY to relax and play. We accomplished both. The apartment was a perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The jacuzzi was a treat at the end of a busy day. We loved that we had the option to eat out or cook at home. The owner John was very accommodating to our early arrival and late departure. Truly a home away from home. P.S. The stairs get easier after a couple of up and downs. Until next time!
