As a guest of our Skytop house you will be able to take advantage of most of the activities and services of the Skytop resort while enjoying the comfort and privacy of your own very pretty, clean and comfortable four bedroom cottage built same time as The Skytop Lodge, almost 100 years ago!
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
This antique cottage, appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture, is located on the 5th Fairway and is the closest home to the majestic Skytop Lodge. The cottage's floor plan and its proximity to Lodge make it a great resting place for which to enjoy the Lodge and its fantastic facilities.
Four private bedrooms – no bedroom shares a wall, three large bedrooms with king beds, a closet and sitting area and master-bedroom has a large private bath. The forth bedroom is smaller but also has a private full bath.
• Four bedrooms and three full baths. Three bedrooms with King beds and one with a full bed.
• Public spaces: Kitchen, dining room, living room and large fully furnished screened in front porch are all comfortable and cozy.
ABOUT SKYTOP's ON-SITE ACTIVITIES:
You should enjoy access to Skytop Lodge and most of the recreational facilities on the resort's 5500 acres and with 18-hole championship golf course, fishing, boating, kayaking on on the lake, tennis, hiking, rock climbing, biking, treetop adventure course with 16 different zip lines, cargo net and ladders, paddle tennis, skeet shooting, rifle shooting, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, ice skating in indoor rink ( only during late fall, winter and early spring), and do not forget to enjoy the spa to relax and enjoy gourmet cooking and drinks at the Lodge or Lake Inn restaurants and dinning rooms and bars!
Weekend evenings often feature live entertainment in the Lodge. Participating in the Saturday Night Grand March with Skytop's 5 piece Orchestra is a favorite among guests! Scheduled events are published each week in the 'Skytop Skylights' and are available at the Lodge's front desk and from the Skytop website.
ABOUT SKIING:
Skytop has their own beginner ski slope with snow making. For those looking for more of a challenge there are many ski slopes near Skytop, including: Camelback Mountain Resort 20 miles, Shawnee Mountain 22 miles, Jack Frost Big Boulder 30 miles, Snow Mountain / 40 miles, and Elk Mountain 60 Miles away.

Wonderful stay, the house was a very short walk to the lodge which was convenient for my family and me. The fireplace was my favorite part of the house, it made the house nice and warm while being surrounded by the beautiful autumn in the Poconos.

The house was as described and a very short walk to the Skytop Lodge with lots of amenities there. We enjoyed the bars, restaurants, arcade, and many other activities. The house was clean with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. The owner was very responsive, friendly, and considerate. We had a great time and looking forward to returning!

We really enjoyed staying in the house. It is a bit rustic but that what we expected of the house in the wooded mountains. The house has a very nice layout and provided extra privacy for our extended family members and having three full baths was a plus! Center located (between living and dining rooms) large stone fireplace made us feel very warm and cozy. The house was very clean and provided everything we needed in the kitchen. Activities at the Skytop resort were endless. It was very short walk from the house to the Lodge and to most of the resort activities Highly recommend this rental.

What my family and I appreciated the most was the layout of the house, especially the centered fireplace on the shared wall between the living room and dining room. The heat it gave off made the house incredibly cozy on a chilly September night. Also, it was a very peaceful stay because no bedroom shares a wall, this was a huge benefit because my wife’s parents are light sleepers.

We had a wonderful getaway time at this Skytop resort house. The location is very convenient with an easy short walk to the Lodge and most of the resort activities. The backyard backs into the golf course providing beautiful views of the resort and the mountains. The house has a nice layout and plenty of space. We enjoyed the cozy fires we had in the large stone fireplace in the leaving room. We are planning to come again this winter.

Three of our generations stayed at the house and were very pleased. My older parents loved that all bedrooms were on one level without walking up any stairs (just one step up from the driveway). Very short walk to the Lodge and many activities was a big plus as well. The house has three very spacious bedrooms with king beds and one with a private bath. The fourth bedroom was smaller with a full bed and a private bath. The dining room has windows all way around, giving a beautiful scenery of the woods. Screened porch, right off the living room, was very roomy as well and also provided plenty of seating for all eight of us and a pleasant evening breathe. The house has a country feel and is very cozy. We did many activities at the resort and wished we had more time to do more of them! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. It was a wonderful stay, and we would make it our regular getaway location with under two hours drive from the City. Thomas New York City
