Tim always provided great communication and very fast to answer any questions. Everything you need was supplied, beautiful small cottage, hot tub facing the ocean and sunset, and secluded property in the forest and waterfront, and away from the towns. Great stay!

This place is fantastic! It is a huge cottage space with a loft for sleeping/ watching tv plus an extra bedroom downstairs. The kitchen is big and well-appointed. There is a wood stove that heats the whole house (it gets everything nice and toasty!) and a lovely sitting area for reading and for morning tea. The deck is large with great views of the water and best of all, a hot tub!!! Tim, the owner, is conscientious and considerate. It was everything we could have asked for!

What an amazing place! The view from the deck is unbeatable, and the cottage is quant and cozy. The location is secluded and quiet, which is perfect for anyone looking for a private getaway. Tim is a wonderful host. He was easy to get ahold of, kind, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The Dogwood Cottage is a fantastic place to get away and relax on Salt Spring Island. We spent the majority of our time on the deck soaking up the beautiful views. The water access worked out great for us, and we spent time out on the row boat with our dogs, rowing to a few of the neighboring small islands. The hot tub was an added bonus. The home is about 15 minutes by car from Ganges and about 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store, which was convenient but not too close. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. Overall, we highly recommend the Dogwood cottage for couples or families looking to get away!
