All of our guests have referred to this home (Casa Lorraine) either as paradise or heaven. For those travelers seeking the very best the Keys have to offer - Casa Lorraine is a tropical open-water villa designed for those who want a 'dream vacation' that they will always remember.
The minute you drive in through the private gates of this spectacular property you will understand. The tropical landscaping is adorned with many species of palms, flowers, aloes and natural plants that sway in the warm southern breezes. Casa Lorraine is very private (fully gated at the end of a cul-de-sac) and perched at the edge of Sugarloaf Sound. You will be virtually surrounded by palm trees and aqua blue tranquility.
This comfortable very roomy 2700 sq ft Spanish-style home has a beautifully finished interior with tile floors, ceiling fans, a fully equipped granite kitchen and a large master suite (king size bed) with private bathroom and 2 private balconies. The roomy interior sleeps 8-10 in beds and yet has a cozy and casual famly feeling. This is a home where you can feel comfortable putting your feet up anywhere and just relaxing. There are spectacular views from every room including the open floor plan kitchen/living/dining area and there are 4 bedrooms (king size bed, 1 queen bed, 2 twins, 1 full), 3 full baths and a play area. Along with the upper level veranda there is a large screened-in porch downstairs and also a beautiful covered outdoor veranda with ceiling fans and swinging chair. The home is fully furnished with everything you will need for a terrific vacation including all kitchen appliances and entertainment conveniences such as two satellite flat screen televisions, DVD player and FIOS wireless high speed internet. Most of all - the views are astonishing - especially the sunsets right from the large veranda.
Outside you'll find a heated swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi, 300 ft of bulkheaded waterfront, power boatlift and a wonderful one-of-a-kind bay-level swimming/fishing/sun deck that puts you right on the water. (fish for snapper right off the deck - great swimming/deep water channel and wonderful snorkeling) There is also a beautiful brick patio pool deck, pool toys, patio tables, stainless gas barbecue, outdoor shower, hammock , kayaks, bicycles, waterfront fish cleaning station with running water, bulkhead rod holders, bulkhead lighting, beach chairs and more. Start the day in the kayaks, then fish, swim in the ocean or pool and finish the day swinging in the hammock between 2 perfect palm trees as you watch the sun set. This property has been designed specifically for those who want to enjoy everything the florida keys offer.
Casa Lorraine is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the beautiful community of South Point on Lower Sugarloaf Key. Wonderful neighborhood for walking, jogging or biking. And ideally located just 15 minutes from Key West. Or just a short bike ride or walk to the Sugarloaf Lodge motel, restaurant, tiki bar and marina. At the marina you'll find bait, tackle and experienced fishing guides.

Just a note to recap our second visit to Casa Lorraine. LOVE IT! My family has enjoyed staying here for a return visit. It is like we never left. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, fishing off the step down deck which puts you close to the water and also the pool/hot tub. We also used the Kayaks which come with the house. We rented stand up paddle boards which my family enjoyed in the large bay behind the house. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the interior of the house is always spotless when we arrive. My children and grandchildren love it there and for me that is what it is all about. Thank you for letting us share you slice of Paradise! V PS. looking forward to next year!
Such a great home and great location. The outside grounds are so beautifully kept and the view being in the pool is spectacular. My kids loved fishing daily. The home has everything that you need - from the 2 kayaks were great to use everyday to the list of the owner's favorite restaurants recommendations. Everything is there at your fingertips. Being inside the home, we were never on top of each other. Such a great home for a great vacation!!

My family and I have been staying at Casa Lorraine for the last 4 years and love it every time we come down. The house is beautiful inside, clean, and has everything you need. Dan, the maintenance man, is always available when needed. The outside of the home is gorgeous. We spend most of our time outside swimming in the pool and hot tub overlooking the open water, kayaking, and fishing. There are also 2 bikes on property to use to bike to the jumping bridge and the loop. We visit Key West often since the drive is a short 20 minute drive. We hit Higgs Beach every year. We love Blue Heaven for breakfast and The Fish Camp Geiger Key Marina for dinner. Ron, the owner of the home, is wonderful to deal with. He always gets back to me as soon as possible. I am always thankful he shares his beautiful home with us yearly.
