SiSo 5350' (Ski In - Ski Out / Elevation 5350') is one of the very few truly SKI IN - SKI OUT houses on Beech Mountain. Perched near the summit of Beech Mountain with an elevation of 5350’, this quaint round house is the highest slope side on the mountain.
Uniquely situated in a thicket of Beech Trees and barely visible from the street, yet with clear views of layered long-range mountains. At over a mile high elevation, SiSo 5350’ sits above the surrounding trees and other cabins, you will find yourself memorized by the views and tranquility. Sitting on the upper deck watching the sunrise paint the easterly sky while you drink a rich cup of coffee, is truly Heaven on earth.
SKI IN - SKI OUT is an understatement, you can literally fist bump your friends and family as they carve Upper Shawneehaw trail while you are relaxing on the lower deck drinking a hot beverage. The upper deck is over a mile high with long range layered views, the lower deck has direct access to the top of Shawneehaw slope. Whether you are snow skiing, snow boarding, or mountain biking the direct access to the best slope on Beech Mountain is priceless.
Catch the first run of the day without having to wait for the chair lift, then ride the high speed quad to the top and ski down to the lower deck were there is plenty of seating for the whole family to gear up at the same time. The down stairs entry foyer is the perfect place to store all your gear to dry out for the next day.
Don't forget that not only is SiSo 5350 a great winter ski house, it is great year round! Summer time high temperatures in the mid 70's, makes SiSo 5350' a perfect getaway from the dog days of summer.
It’s hard to sleep in with the sunrises you will see at SiSo5350', your days start spectacular and only get better. Wither you sit inside taking in the beauty through the floor to ceiling glass walls or your sitting in the brisk mountain air on one of the expansive decks, your morning coffee never tasted so good.
****UPDATES****
SiSo 5350' has been recently purchased by us, the Griffin Family. Our cabin has seen many years of use and we feel that she deserves some updating. We have worked hard to prepare SiSo 5350' for this winters ski season, to those guests that have stayed with us over the summer and fall, THANK YOU. Without you, SiSo 5350' wouldn't get the renewed lease on life and bring joy and relaxation to so many families.

***Winter WARNING***
SiSo 5350 receives 80-100 inches of snow annually. 4X4 or snow chains are highly recommended. This location also receives snowfall from the resorts "snow blowing" system as well. We can receive natural snowfall from October through April.
***Summer WARNING***
Siso 5350 can be cool in the summer months. We do experience wonderful 70's and 80's in the area, but we can experience rainy, cloudy, cool summer days that you will need an extra layer for!
