Kuau Inn (Permit No: BBPH 2015/0003) is one of the few legal B&B's on Maui's North Shore.
Location: Paia, Kuau , North Shore, Maui, Hawaii, USA (1 mile from Historic Paia Town, 7 miles from airport) Property is close to Hookipa , Kite Beach and Kanaha Beach.
Accommodations: Kuau Inn B&B has 5 rental rooms. It is also available for a Whole Inn rental which can accommodate up to 10 people.
$145 per night is for each room, based on double occupancy. For additional guests please email owner for availability and rates. Whole Inn Rate is $700 per night.
The North Shore is a wonderful and special place to spend a vacation in Maui. Kuau Inn is where you can genuinely feel like a local and meet other friendly travelers. The classic plantation-style house, in the North Shore beach neighborhood of Kuau, is conveniently located one mile from Maui’s historic plantation town of Pa’ia.
Pa’ia Town, is bustling with a diversity of restaurants, unique boutiques, local art galleries and casual night life.
Maui’s North Shore area has many beautiful beaches, and Ho’okipa world-renowned for surfing, windsurfing, and kite boarding, is a short walk from the Kuau Inn. Kuau is a friendly beach neighborhood. Mama’s Fish House, Maui’s most outstanding contemporary Polynesian cuisine restaurant, is a stroll away. It is located in a beautiful white sand cove perfect for children to swim and snorkel.
Kuau Inn is at the foot of Haleakala Crater and at the start of the journey to Hana. Both of these exquisite drives with breathtaking sights are completely unique to Maui.

Kind of like a self serve, come and go type of place. Super convenient and the place has EVERYTHING you will need and more. Come check it out! I'm glad we did!
We had a great time at this property. The other guests we met were all super nice and some great conversations were had. Also, based on a tip from one of the other guests, we went to a small neighborhood beach a half mile toward downtown and saw 40 sea turtles coming up on the beach for the evening. Apparently it is a regular occurrence there. Definitely recommended.
