Our one bedroom is beautifully decorated with a screened in porch perfect for a relaxing, Hang Loose vacation. The Purple Parrot is a 114 unit Caribbean-style resort with tropical plants & palm trees. The huge 150,000 gallon outdoor pool is only footsteps from our condo. Enjoy live music at the Tiki Bar (seasonal) or sample some of the local restaurants for your dining & entertainment.
Johnson Beach State Park is a short (3) minute drive from our condo. Breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, white sand beaches, showers, picnic tables, walking trails & covered pavilions.
Our condo offers two 43" Flat screen TV's, dvd players, comfortable King size bed, Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, free wifi, extended cable, & our kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your groceries & you'll be set. Front loading washer and dryer. Condo is on the lower level & parking is directly in front of the unit.
The Purple Parrot in Perdido Key is a unique gated tropical resort. The villas surround a 5000 square foot oasis swimming pool with a waterfall and a bridge accessible hot tub. The resort also features an indoor heated pool and hot tub in the indoor pool house. Changing rooms, showers, sauna & work out area.
Tiki Bar is on-site pool-side. Drinks are available for purchase.
Purple Parrot has a strict NO pet policy for renters.
NO smoking in any of the condos.
NO renters under the age of 25.
Restaurants, grocery stores, marinas, golf courses are within a mile of the resort. So much to do and see on the key!

Hang Loose was a perfect option for our short stay in peaceful Perdido Key. The condo was very clean and well organized--loved that everything had its place! Our visit was short while we visited with family in the area, so we did not take advantage of the pools or Tiki Bar (although we enjoyed the music our first night!). Loved the local restaurants that were suggested and the friendliness of the entire area. Much of our time was spent at the nearby National Seashore Beach (our national park pass served us well!). From the beach, it was fun to welcome the Blue Angels back to Pensacola as they flew back from their winter home in California! Because we had our bikes with us, a wonderful surprise was Gulf State Park up the road in Gulf Shores, Alabama--the 25 miles of paved bike trails were amazing, the people friendly, and the farm to table restaurant delicious! And the 177 steps up the Pensacola Lighthouse provided amazing views of the coast. Two days "hanging loose" was the perfect ending to our 10 days exploring the Florida Panhandle from East to West! Sherry and Steve were very responsive and patient with our concerns, including the ongoing road improvement challenges in the Purple Parrot community! What a fun time!

Pleased that it was so clean, well equipped and furnished. In a secure community with both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Tiki bar provided enjoyable entertainment. Good location, close to beach, shopping and restaurants.
