This lovely cottage is centered just off Second Street in the most desired area of Long Beach - BELMONT SHORE. ***A GEM of a property with AIR CONDITIONING AND PRIVATE GARAGE.*** A five minute walk will lead you to all of the wonderful boutiques, pubs, restaurants, beach and bay! If you have children, your kids will love the beach as well as the bayside and all of the available activities that comes with it. Kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, or just floating around on a raft. Sailors also love our location as we're also close to the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) a perfect location for those out of town Regattas!

The kitchen has it all - french door refrigerator, double oven with convection, 6 burner gas range, dishwasher, microwave and 12 cup coffee maker. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, our BBQ awaits your grilling expertise. Whether you're enjoying the warmer summer months or the cooler winter season, our central heating and air conditioning system will keep you feeling comfortable!
 
Our property comes equipped with high speed internet, FREE WiFi, cable, three flat screen TV's - a new 50' flat screen in the family room, master bedroom and one in the middle queen bedroom. We provide high quality bed linens, towels, and there's no need to bring a blow dryer as we have provided two for you.
 
Take advantage of the coastal air . . . relax, sunbathe or BBQ off the private gated side yard or back porch or enjoy the front yard on the table set under the umbrella! During those warmer summer months, come inside and enjoy the A/C.
 
Once you've arrived at Maison de Fleurs cottage, you don�t really need a car to enjoy Belmont Shores, Naples, Belmont Heights, several beaches or parks nearby because you're in close proximity to just about everything on foot. Our property is close... yet just far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet to read a book or take a nap!
 
Enjoy some local activities: Take a tour of the famous Queen Mary, visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific or if you have time - take the ferry to Catalina island. Go whale watching and most likely you'll get to see some dolphins frolicking alongside the boat. Again, there is quite a large selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. You might enjoy riding a bike or walking along the canals of Naples Island to look at beautiful homes, boats and/or beaches. If you don't feel like walking, consider a gondola ride and relax while you enjoy the scenery by water! Visit the Long Beach Art Museum or our local Performing Art Center. For your convenience, we have provided a notebook on site with detailed information on restaurants/menus, activities, etc.
 
If you're visiting the Long Beach Convention Center, we are a 10 minute drive along the scenic coastline. In addition, there is an hourly bus that will also shuttle you just up the street. The shuttle can take you to Shoreline Village as well where there are more restaurants and sightseeing. Our cottage is an easy drive to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza, and Huntington Beach's popular 'surf city' or Seal Beach. Look at the map and see how close you are to many of the great destinations Southern California has to offer.

(LGB) Long Beach Airport - (15 minutes)
 
(LAX) Los Angeles Inter. Airport (35 minutes)
 
(SNA) Orange County Airport is (30 minutes)
 
Timewise, LGB is much easier getting 'in and out' of than LAX as it is much smaller and very close to our cottage. SNA (also known as John Wayne Airport) is also a smaller airport and located in Orange County. Timeframes can vary depending on the time of day and current traffic conditions.

'Belmont Shore' is a very unique area and is the most desired destination in Long Beach due to the surrounding shoreline that 'hugs' three sides of this charming community.

If you desire to be within WALKING distance to all of the shops, restaurants, pubs, and boutiques of 2nd Street, this is the place! The 'downtown' area is NOT considered Belmont Shore. Staying within the true boundaries will allow you to enjoy the area without having to drive and park your vehicle. Enjoy a property that includes the use of our private onsite garage.
 
 UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY
 
We want you to be aware that we understand emergencies can happen. If you have the need to cancel your reservation, we will reopen those dates making every effort to rebook them. If we're able to rerent your dates, you will be refunded for those dates less a $100 cancellation fee as well as the service fee retains. These details are also reflected in our Standard Rental Agreement and want our guests to know THIS ALLOWANCE LEAVES OUR GUESTS WITH MORE FLEXIBILITY than the "FIRM" rental option indicated on our 
 
WITH REGARD TO THE CURRENT COVID SITUATION 
 
We are concerned with keeping YOU as well as ourselves and housekeeping healthy! We continue to launder our linens using very hot water and with added bleach to our "solid whites". We also continue to disinfect high touch surfaces to include tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, appliances, handles, toilets, bathtub/shower faucets, sinks, exterior keypads, temperature control unit, etc. We provide a basket with some items you may find useful during your stay having to do with staying healthy and being proactive. (backup masks, gloves, booties, hand sanitizer and paper towels just for �precautionary� measures in case you need an item you�ve left behind).
 
As it is possible to guarantee a COVID free environment unless you were in a medical facility or hospital clean room, we want you to be aware our property is cleaned BEFORE and AFTER every guests stay. We continue to urge our guests to routinely wash your hands, continue to be at a safe distance from others and continue to wear a mask when recommended.
 
Although we have dishware and appliances in our cabinets, to include pots, pans for your use on site that are routinely washed in the dishwasher, we realize COVID has caused all of us to re-think certain things we do when outside of our own home. That being said, we will also provide some "disposable" dinnerware (plates, utensils and napkins) should you choose to use that option. Feel free to use ANY of the kitchen items on-site that YOU feel more "at ease and safer" using.

Policies & Payments

SECURITY DEPOSIT
This deposit will be credited back to your credit card the day after departure.

Your 1st deposit will be made via credit card. The remaining balance may be made via credit card or e-check. When paying via e-check be sure to check the e-Check option box.

For your convenience, we allow the total balance to be paid in full OR in two payments. If you're making two payments, we require . . . . .

1st Pmt. - Initial deposit upon acceptance of booking
2nd Pmt. - Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival.

Full payment is required for any guest arriving less than two weeks prior to arrival.

**WITH REGARD TO REFUND POLICY**
All cancelled reservations by guest are subject to a cancellation charge of $100.00 For reservations cancelled less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival REFUNDS WILL BE MADE if we are able to re-rent the home all monies will be refunded less the $100.00 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for early departures or if number in party decreases. We realize that certain situations come up with regard to unexpected changes. WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REBOOK OUR PROPERTY FOR LAST MINUTE CHANGES AND/OR CANCELLATIONS.

As per our Rental Agreement, Lessee agrees to indemnify the owner for any damage of less to the property or its contents that occur during your stay. Violation of occupancy limits will result in the forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy. Further, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the community and refrain from any activity that interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its residents. We love our neighbors and want them to continue to love us. No parties, family reunions or large gathering on premises at any time.

As we have many repeat guests that require a pet free environment due to allergies, we do not allow any pets inside the fenced perimeter of our property.

We were a family with 2 teens and a pre teen daughter and we all had a wonderful time. The house is small but perfectly designed and decorated. It is cute, clean and very comfortable. location is perfect, 30 minutes away from Santa Monica and ~30 min away from laguna beach. And locally we enjoyed the lively neighborhood, Naples canals and of course Long Beach activities. Thank you Kelly for renting your house to us. We hope we can come back soon!

Just spent 3 nights and 4 days at Kelly's property. This was the only little vacation we took this summer because of Covid-19. It was perfect! The house is only a few doors away from Second Street and a few blocks from the beach. We brought our bikes with us and took multiples rides to the beach each day. Ordering in is easy because there are so many wonderful restaurants along Second Street. Our favorite this past weekend on Second Street is Simmzy's. The house is lovely, decorated with so much care. The beds are super comfortable and make for a great nights' sleep. There are several outdoor sitting areas. However, because it was one of the hottest weekends on record, we were grateful for the AC. We will definitely be coming back! It truly makes for a fabulous location for outdoor experiences, rest, and relaxation!

We had an excellent experience. It was very easy to access the property. We especially appreciated having a garage, which was wonderful. We had a few property related questions, and Kelly, the owner/ manager responded immediately. The location is perfect. Everything is within easy walking distance. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the house because of COVID concerns. It was immaculate!

A business associate of mine was in town for a project and it was up to me to find a suitable home for him. I luckily found this property and got an immediate response from the owner. The home was comfortable and in a great location. I would definatley recommend this location :)

Not only is this place beautiful, it has everything you could possibly need and is so comfortable. It was incredibly clean and Kelly even supplied extra Covid related supplies. Lots of towels and hot water--never ran out! Location is great, parking is typical for a beach area so having garage access from an alley made for easy in and out. Can't wait to come back!

The house was darling, old school. Built-in cabinets, peculiar pathways, unique bathrooms. Appreciated the 3 adult beds, rather than twins or bunks. It was well-appointed, and perfectly located. The backyard was underwhelming, but the front patio is great! We overlooked the beach stuff, but there is tons of it in the side yard. Beware lovers and hyper children - the frame of the bed in the middle bedroom bangs loudly. Kelly, the owner, was fantastic. Lots of communication, very sweet, allowed us to stay a few extra hours for a lazy Sunday morning. :) I Recommend the Duffy Boats, Kayaking, 2nd street, Beach @ Ocean and Nieto, OR, if you have dogs, Rosie's Beach. Its all within 7-10 minuets walk. 2nd street is literally 10 seconds away. The pub is close enough to roll your friends home, Just sayin'

My husband and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved the property and location! It was within walking distance of second street and it had the rare advantage of a garage. Kelly was wonderful and more than accommodating! The home oozed with charm. It was perfect!!!

My family of four loved this house! The place was spotless, and the home is wonderfully comfortable, with fluffy beds, a perfect little kitchen, fun decorating touches, and a big dining table for family meals. Outside tables and chairs are set up outside too, so that we were able to enjoy sitting outside in the sunny backyard, and in the pretty front yard of the house as we watched the neighbors go by. The neighborhood is friendly, and we were within blocks of restaurants, the beach and shops. We loved this house, and Long Beach , and hope to return in the summer.
