To start off the drive up off the main rd was a very diff change from the flat roads of FL and the cabin was amazing! Being able to sit by the fire inside and hear the water outside was very peaceful and relaxing. We didn't get to use the fire pit area as the weather was rainy for the first few days and spent out last night in by the fire place watching the Lightning win the Stanley Cup! (We are a hockey family so priorities) Angel and Perry made an extra effort to leave us a very special treat for our anniversary and had roses on the bar, fire place, bed, and out side table and even left us a great bottle of wine to celebrate when we walked in in addition to a great basket of treats and discount card to some local businesses. I can't say enough great things about this trip and the treatment we received. Thank you so much!

This was a great get away for our group. The check in /out process was extremely easy. Angel followed up to be sure we arrived safely and checked in with us mid week to ensure everything was going well. Angel is very easy to communicate with. We celebrated with a couple that were married in February but didn't get a chance to get away since the pandemic hit. We were fortunate enough to find an absolute beautiful home in the mountains to help celebrate with our friends. The Buroughs family left a very nice card, with fresh flowers and cake to help make this trip feel welcoming and put a huge smile on our faces. We have made some lasting memories and we Thank the Buroughs family for letting their home become our home for a week. WE WILL BE BACK.

I’m pretty sure the owners of this peppery wrote the book on VRBO hospitality. We greatly appreciated the cleanliness and obvious preparations that went into our stay. The cabin is large and is well laid out. WiFi and reception were beyond adequate for kids that were online schooling. The kitchen is well stocked as well as sheets and towels in the sleeping quarters. The home and proper is immaculate which is a massive plus personally.

My wife and I needed a weekend to relax and this was the perfect place with the fireplace and waterfall in the back yard.

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone. To say that my family and I enjoyed our stay at the Buroughs’ cabin is an understatement. We loved every minute of our stay. Not only was the cabin impeccably clean with a beautiful and serene backyard, but the Buroughs’ family are tremendous hosts. The little details truly set them apart from other rentals — we were provided a Welcome Kit, which included items to make s’mores, and they even provided us with recommendations of places to see and things to do in the area. We truly loved enjoying the porch in the morning and making s’mores at night. The cabin also has a great location. Great distance from Asheville, Maggie Valley, and Sylva. My family and I certainly would stay here again.

My family and I (our girls are ages 4 and 20 months) vacationed here for 6 nights and it was an absolute dream. The cabin is set up perfectly for hosting. Every room/bed provided extra pillows and linens. There was a surplus of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen provided plenty of dishes along with everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. The electric fireplace in the living area was pleasant and so convenient to quickly knock out any fall/winter chill. The porch offered a picture-perfect mountain view, all while listening to the waterfall located on the property. Our girls loved the outdoor firepit as it allowed them to make tasty s’mores. I highly recommend this cabin for your family's next mountain vacation. We will be staying again in the future!

We recently moved from Michigan to NC and wanted to show our 10 year old daughter the beauty of NC. We had never stayed in Waynesville, and chose the property based on the reviews. It was a great decision! First of all, the location was perfect. A short drive down the mountain to grocery, restaurants, and easy highway access. The cabin itself was exceptional. It was spotless, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The gas fireplace was wonderful for chilly nights. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable, which is always a bonus when traveling! We would definitely recommend this owner and property. They know how to host guests and made sure everything was comfortable and welcoming for us. We will look forward to another visit here!

This is an amazing place to stay. The cabin is immaculate, the landscaping is beautiful. The Cabin is well equipped, We would definitely rent this place again.. This is probably the nicest Cabin that we have ever stayed in. No problems at all.

The attention to detail was amazing. From the welcome basket to the personalized gifts for the kids, everything was just perfect. The home was very welcoming. The home was very clean and contained all the necessities we needed for our stay. The property was maintained beautifully and the location was very peaceful. I would highly recommend.

Snow and we got it. For the location the roads were in better shape than most. It's secluded nicely for privacy. Could only imagine using the fire pit and enjoying the deck in warmer seasons. The place was clean and great beds for sleeping. We needed this. THank you
